Which system fits?

Start with where the system is going.

A starting point, not a design. Your Apium installer sizes the inverter and battery to your actual load and roof.

Single-phase hybrid with a 48 V battery

Most South African homes have a single-phase supply. An Apium single-phase hybrid inverter runs solar, battery and grid together for backup during outages and lower bills.

What is a hybrid inverter?

A hybrid inverter manages solar panels, a battery and the grid together. It powers your home or business from solar first, stores surplus energy in the battery and uses the battery or grid when the sun is down.

What is the difference between low-voltage and high-voltage inverters?

Low-voltage (LV) Apium inverters use a 48 V battery bank (40–60 V range) and cover 6–16 kW single phase and 15–20 kW three phase. High-voltage (HV) inverters use a 160–1000 V battery and cover 30–125 kW three phase for larger commercial systems.

Does Uni-E install systems?
